SOME INDIVIDUAL ASPECTS OF THE KAZAKH-JUNGAR OCCUPATION

Abstract

This scientific article analyzes the course and individual manifestations of the Dzungar invasions of the Kazakh Khanate in the 17th-18th centuries. In addition, this study conducts a thematic analysis of the general Dzungar invasion in accordance with new historical information, research, works, and data collected by an ordinary citizen studying the history of his ancestors.

Despite the fact that the causes and consequences of the Dzungar invasion have not yet been fully studied, clarified, and understood, there is currently a great deal of interest in them, and it is the civic duty of the Kazakh people to consider this issue on a daily basis. The study focused on a comparative analysis covering the general stages of the Dzungar invasion. A review of the scientific literature was conducted, and a brief historiography was compiled based on the contradictions between researchers and the original works of researchers, in accordance with the works of later new researchers.

We see that nomadic society, despite external aggression, is trying to develop measures to maintain a normal way of life. Analyzing the long-term consequences of these conflicts, which led to the formation of the state system and changes, we can see the mistakes made by the commanders of that time in their preventive measures, organization, and consolidation of the population.

The aim of the study is to conduct a comprehensive analysis of the main problems of the Kazakh Khanate during the Dzungar invasion and to assess their impact on the political, social, and cultural transformation of Kazakh society. In connection with the Dzungar invasion, new data and research results are being published this year. The data should be studied as an object of research for the purpose of generalization, comparison, and comprehensive consideration.
